The Men's Isotope Parka by Patagonia is a thigh-length waterproof/breathable rain parka with an insulating zip-out vest, both made with recycled/recyclable materials.

A perfect 3-in-1 fall-to-spring jacket for city workweeks and long weekends in the woods, the thigh-length, matte-finish Isotope is a sophisticated answer to the function vs. fashion question. Inclement-weatherproof features include a fully adjustable zip-off hood and an insulated zip-out vest, a 6-oz polyester (50% recycled) shell with a waterproof/breathable H2No barrier, and a Deluge DWR (durable water repellent) finish. The wear-alone vest has a 100% recycled polyester shell and is filled with 60-g Thermogreen insulation that's 90% recycled. Soft microfleece lines the neck and chin flap of both the vest and jacket; a double snapdown wind flap protects the full-front zipper.

The jacket has deep handwarmer pockets and napoleon pockets that are accessible through the zipped-in vest. The vest has handwarmer pockets and an internal zippered pocket.
